We started from BP North, a warm and humid day, 7 bikes looked forward to another day of enjoyable riding.

Our route to our smoko stop which was to be the Ginger Factory, took us through Wamuran, Elimbah, Glasshouse Mountains, Maleny via Mt Mellum Road, across to Mapleton, Nambour to Yandina.

On arriving atYandina we found the Ginger Factory had a function on so we went around to the centre of Yandina to have smoko.

From here we went up the Old Bruce Highway to the Eumundi turnoff were we joined the Freeway to Cooroy, we travelled through Cooroy to Pomona and then on to Boreen Point for our lunch stop at the Pub.  Everyone put in their lunch orders and proceeded to wait with a few cool beverages.   A few selected from the Main Menu while others had the Sunday Spit Roast.

The trip home provided many opportunities of which way we would travel. We decided to head back through Tewantin where we refuelled. From here we went along Sunrise Road Tinbeerwah to Eumundi, across to Kenilworth and then up Postman’s Track which made for an interesting ride much easier to ride up than down. We then headed back through Woodford and stopped at the The Place to Be Café at Delaney’s Creek for afternoon smoko, from here we said our goodbyes and did the run over Mt Mee home, another great days riding thanks to all those who made it such an enjoyable day.
