Arrangements had previously been made with the staff at Girraween Nursing Home for ourannual Christmas visit on Saturday morning 8th December at 10 am. With the date fastapproaching it was decided that we would meet at Maccas at Clontarf at 8am-breakfast, and then continue out to Girraween Nursing Home.

On arrival at Maccas Clontarf it was great to see 7 bikes in the car park (somedecorated). While eating, drinking and chatting several more riders arrived. At9.30 everyone began to get ready to leave (not before the group photo) and headout to Rothwell with Ralphie leading the way.

When we arrived at Girraween, Sam (one of the residents) greeted us and ushered someof the bikes into the Recreation Hall where Jim & Wanda, Pete & Liz hadalready positioned their bikes. The residents were there waiting for us. We (27members) mingled, talked, assisted with morning tea and distributed gifts.

Cheryl was now asking if anyone would like their photo taken with the bikes. This was greeted with a huge response where the photographers were kept busy. During conversations it was discovered that some (male and female) had ridden bikes.Cathy thanked us for coming out and wished everyone a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
